What is ECF?
Employment and Community First (ECF) is a TennCare program that helps individuals gain greater independence through employment and community-based support. At Sunshine Services, we partner with managed care organizations to provide personalized services that promote self-sufficiency, social connection, and full participation in community life. Our goal is to empower the people we support to live meaningful, purpose-driven lives.

Key Services

• Community Integration Support Services: Community Integration Support Services (CISS) help individuals engage in meaningful, inclusive activities that reflect their interests and goals. These supports promote active participation in community life and foster connections with others. Activities may include volunteering, attending local events, exercising, enjoying parks and recreation centers, and taking day trips.
• ECF Employment: Tailored strategies and activities designed to enhance whether s/he wishes to pursue individualized integrated employment or self employment.
